The HighStone has been renamed the EagleLedge. We need queens.

We all know that the Falcon/Breeze/Cedar prophecy was, obviously, a failure. Should we have a second one? Any ideas for it? Vote on the poll and tell me your ideas at the Information Page!

Also, look at the history of FalconClan, named The Feathers of a Falcon (its in the sidebar, under "Important Pages")

I've changed the limit of cats per person from 6 to no limit at all. However, don't go crazy with your number of cats, or I may ask you to kill or send away one or two of them. Thanks!

Training Hollow

Mentors take their apprentices here to do battle training or teach their apprentices the proper way to hunt different types of prey. It is pretty much the only place in FalconClan territory that has a nice, soft ground- perfect for training.

  1. Leafpaw padded into the training hollow with Berlymist and Streampaw.

  2. Berylmist looked at Streampaw. "Right. We will be battle training today. I'll first assess what you know- Streampaw, come at me. Leafpaw, just watch us."

    ReplyDelete
  3. Leafpaw nodded as she watched Streampaw and Berylmist train. She watched all the moved, how Streampaw got underneath Berymist and raked her paw, claws sheathed, across her underbelly. Interesting move, Leafpaw thought. I think I could use it.

    ReplyDelete
  4. She then leaped up over Berylmist and tried to land on her back.

  5. Berylmist had seen what she was going to do, and let her. When Streampaw landed, she dropped and rolled with the impact, and Streampaw fell with her sudden loss of footing. Berylmist was up in a heartbeat and she leapt onto Streampaw, holding her down, one paw on her neck and the other on her belly. Berylmist let Streampaw up, then faced Leafpaw. "Did you see what I did? Any sensible opponent, especially one smaller than you, will try to leap on your back. Of course, you can just shake them off. Another option is what I did- absorb the impact and use it against them. When they fall, you gain the upper hand and can defeat your opponent. Why don't you two try it? Leafpaw can leap on Streampaw first."

  6. Leafpaw nodded, a slight frown on her face. She leaped onto Streampaw's back and clung on, batting the apprentice with her paws, claws sheathed.

  7. She had remembered what Berylmist had done. How couldn't she? She was easy flung away from her mentor. She used the impact like she was taught and rolled over. Shes stood up panting. "How did I do?"
    ~Streampaw

  8. Leafpaw looked up into Strampaw's blue eyes for a moment, and then they were up on their feet. "How did we do?" Leafpaw asked.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Berylmist nodded her approval. "That was good, you two. But Streampaw, you need to flow more. Think of a river. Relax, don't be too tense." She turned to the other apprentice. "Leafpaw, you did well too but remember to keep your balance- that will lessen the impact of your fall, therefore giving you more time to recover. Okay, switch sides. Streampaw, you leap on Leafpaw. Don't think too much, rely more on instinct. If you two do it correctly, I'll teach you the defensive move for that." Berylmist stepped back to observe their movements.

  10. Leafpaw braced herself for Streampaw's attack. She was more adapted to leaping, not bearing weight. But she hda to learn this. Just imagine it's over already and you both did good, Leafpaw thought.

    ReplyDelete
  11. She nodded to Berylmist, she hoped she had gotten it right but now that she thought about it, she was to tense. She then looked at Leafpaw and signaled that she was ready.

  12. (Doesn't streampaw leap this time?)

    ReplyDelete
  13. (Oh, oops :P)

"Are you ready?" She asked Leafpaw. But before the she-cat could awnser she leaped, claws sheathed, onto the back of Leafpaw. She waited for Leafpaw to react.

  14. Leafpaw, acting purely on instinct, fell down to the ground, twisting and wriggling out of Streampaw's grip, batting at her with claws sheathed. Leafpaw was in front of Streampaw in a few seconds, her smooth, silky fur on end. "Wow," she said. "I didn't know I could do that." Suddenly, she turned. "I think I should be getting back to camp," she said. "I think Moonblossom's calling." Leafpaw quickly padded from the training hollow.

    ReplyDelete
  15. She looked at Berylmist, her face showing confusion.
    ~Streampaw

    ReplyDelete
  16. Berylmist narrowed her eyes. "Leafpaw. Come back." It was quiet, but unmistakably a command, and it seemed to echo throughout the training hollow. "Though Moonblossom may be calling you, I am also a warrior, and can command you. And so I say this: Even though you have an important issue at hand, you must inform me before going off on your own. Do you understand?"
Berylmist saw the apprentice nod. "Good. You did well, but you might want to go forward and attack your opponent after you have successfully maneuvered your move. Streampaw, that was good as well. Dig your claws in more in a true battle." She flicked her tail, and led Streampaw out of the training hollow. "As the matter at hand seems to be quite important to you, Leafpaw, you can lead us to Moonblossom."

    ReplyDelete
  17. Darkflame surveyed the cats around him, Moonblossom at his side. "I think that we should first pair up, and then work from there. It would be easier for all of us," he began. "So I would like the warriors and warriors together, and the apprentices together. Nightclaw and Berylmist, go stand there." He waved his tail at the base of a tree trunk. "Silentecho and Crowflight." He pointed with his tail to the edge of the clearing. "The three apprentices can go together." Darkflame gestured to a tree stump. "Moonshadow, can you tell them what we should start with?" He meowed, looking to his fellow 'mentor'.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nightclaw's tail swished, his eyes looking expectantly at Moonshadow.

    - Nightclaw -

(sorry, it's all I can do)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Moonblossom sighed, Silverpaw still in her jaws. "We shuld shtart by practishing leaping," said Moonblossom, her voice muffled by Silverpaw's scruff. Silverpaw was struggling and yowling, "no! No!! I will not hunt birds!" Moonblossom dropped Silverpaw, and Leafpaw pinned him. She murmured a few words in her brother's ear, and he calmed. They stood up, Silverpaw's ears flattned in embarressment. "Let's go," said Moonblossom.

  20. Darkflame nodded. "Right! Stay in your partners. Keep a large distance from each other. One of you, don't move before you jump. Once you get on them, pin them down. The other cat can struggle as much as they want- the hunting birds will not hesitate to rip your belly apart with those talons," he told them, looking apologetically at a frightened Silverpaw.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Nightclaw nodded, backing up to face Berylmist. His heart lurched, but he kept still, focusing his mind on only the training.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Berylmist smiled at Nightclaw. "You can go first," she purred, telling herself to not react when he landed on her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Nightclaw shifted weight to the left, keeping balance in his hind legs. He crouched down, his tail flickering from side to side. The deputy pounced, rolling Berylmist over and pinning her down with dark brown paws.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  24. Berylmist struggled as hard as she could, doing as Darkflame told her to. She pummeled his stomach as hard she could but Nightclaw stayed put. Finally, she gave up and used her usual method: she stopped, gave a sudden violent twist, felt him loosen, then she slipped out from under him as easily as a snake.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Nightclaw turned, pouncing again as Berylmist slithered out of his grip. He leaned close to the ground, trying not to use any methods for real hunting, as they would have included unsheathed claws, teeth, and bloodshed.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  26. Berylmist laughed in exhilaration, leaping back as Nightclaw pounced again. She scooted around him, knocking his legs from under him, then flipping him over. She placed one paw on his stomach and the other on his neck. She bent down as if to bite down on his throat, but instead leaning down close and whispering in his ear: "I won."

    ReplyDelete
  27. Nightclaw smirked. "You got lucky." He stretched as Berylmist took her paws off him, twitching his tail.

  28. Darkflame spotted the pair. "Okay, less flirting, more practicing!" He called. Berylmist flushed scarlet with embarrassment and faced Nightclaw.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Nightclaw twitched with annoyance, his cheeks turning a light pink. He faced his partner, standing firm. "Your turn."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  30. (woah cats blushing lol)

Berylmist smiled, and prepared to leap. To add a bit of fun to it she pretended to leap, then when Nightclaw reacted she actually jumped, bowling him over and slashing his face with sheathed claws, not actually hurting him.

    ReplyDelete
  31. (haha)

Nightclaw kicked his hind legs up, sending Berylmist far enough to get back up. He braced himself again, waiting for the incoming attack.

  32. (I comted Sunnystones too, btw)

Moonblossom watched the pair flirting/fighting, and sighed inwardly. She knew she could never find true love, not like those two. No tom in the Clan even captured her attention. "Silverpaw, Leafpaw, start practicing," said Moonblossom. "Um...Moonblossom?" said Leafpaw slowly. "Silverpaw's gone." Moonblossom sighed. "We'll look for him later. He'll come back." She turned to Darkflame. "I could use some practice hunting birds," she told him. "Why don't we practice together?"
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  33. (ok)

Darkflame smiled at the black she-cat. "Of course," he said courteously. "How do you want to begin?"

Berylmist, just in time, dodged Nightclaw's attack by jumping back and then ducking. She leaped forward again, landing on his back, and keeping herself there.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Nightclaw rolled Berylmist over, pinning her down instead, smirking.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  35. Berylmist grinned up at him, and shook her head. "Hey, go easy on me, you're the deputy and I'm just another cat, right?"

    ReplyDelete
  36. Nightclaw's eyes glittered. "Shouldn't 'just another cat' be able to take on the deputy? Just because they have a higher rank doesn't mean they won't die in battle."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  37. Berylmist smirked. "Evidently." Using his pause as a distraction, she flipped from under him and slid out with ease, then leapt for his throat, her teeth purposely ripping harmlessly through his thick fur.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Nightclaw's heart thumped, his breath pulled out of him. "Oh StarClan, you're good." He slid himself out from under Berylmist's grip, grinning at her. His ear twitched. "Maybe I should be expecting more out of FalconClan warriors."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  39. Berylmist tossed her head in mock pride. "Yes, in fact. You should," she sniffed, pretending to be conceited.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Nightclaw rolled his eyes. "Sure, Berylmist. I'll do whatever I can to make sure that my warriors win against me." He managed a quick smile.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  41. Berylmist kept up her act. "Aw... so you were just pretending to be bad at it?" She put on a sad face. She knew he wasn't pretending when she saw his face. Resisting the urge to grin, she looked innocently up at Nightclaw. She loved torturing this cat.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nightclaw blinked, sitting down with his tail curled over his paws. A pain of guilt shot through him, and he looked away. "If that's how you want to believe it, then sure."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  43. Berylmist pretended to be disappointed. "I... I thought that I was actually good at something for once," she stammered, her face turning red. Great StarClan, she was proud of herself for acting.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Nightclaw shuffled his paws, his heart aching. This plan wasn't keeping up with him. He scraped a paw on the dusty forest floor, but said nothing.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  45. Berylmist gazed at him with sad eyes for a moment longer, then launched herself towards him and held him down with surprising strength. Her eyes sparkled with amusement. "I was kidding," she purred in laughter. "You should have seen your face."

    ReplyDelete
  46. Nightclaw smirked, pushing off Berylmist. "You actually left me speechless. I...was never tricked like that before." With a flick of his brown tabby tail, he tilted his head, speaking again. "But of course, you just got lucky."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  47. Berylmist snorted. "Yeah, of course I just did. I'm an exceptionally actress," she added, smirking in his direction. "I tricked the deputy," she flaunted at him.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Moonblossom smiled slightly at Darkflame. "Like I said, we could leap from places, aiming to catch something thrown in the air, like a feather or plant or something."
    ~Moonblossom

Leafpaw watched Moonblossom and Darkflame and hoped beyond all hope that maybe her sister and Darkflame might become mates. She knew that Moonblossom needed love and happiness in her life, and that Darkflame might be a good match for her. Leafpaw sighed, hoping.
    ~Leafpaw

    ReplyDelete
  49. (u want them to be mates? i'm ok w/ that)

Darkflame grinned. "Or one of us can leap, and the other one can catch us like we're the birds."

    ReplyDelete
  50. Nightclaw cuffed Berylmist's ear in amusement. "Congratulations."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  51. Berylmist purred and gazed into his amber eyes. "Hey, Nightclaw? Can I ask you something?"

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nightclaw nodded, his tail swishing across the snow. "Anything."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  53. Berylmist gaze at him for a moment longer, then grinned. "Do you have your eye on anyone in the camp?" She almost giggled, surprising herself. "Do you like anyone?"

    ReplyDelete
  54. Nightclaw's eyes widened, then relaxed. "What did you want me to say?" Better not to reveal the secret...not yet.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  55. Berylmist's blue eyes stared up at Nightclaw, though young she was full of experience and wisdom. "The truth," she said simply.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Nightclaw's paws shuffled, his gaze shifting from the ground to Berylmist's eyes he seemed to fall into. "The truth? Right now?"

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  57. (Yeah, I want that to happen, but Moonblossom's going to be difficult with love... :P)

Moonblossom smiled, and felt a warm, shivery feeling. No... she thought, pushing the feelings away. Just a training session, just a training session... Darkflame's ice-blue eyes were hypnotizing. Moonblossom shook her head and looked away. "S-sure," she said. Then she smiled mischeviously. "I'll be the bird, and you be the cat." Moonblossom quickly climbed a tree. "Ready?" she asked Darkflame. Then, she leaped.
    ~Moonblossom

Leafpaw smiled. Love was in the air...
    ~Leafpaw

    ReplyDelete
  58. (Lol, Leafpaw the love guru...)
Berylmist stared into his amber eyes and saw thatt he wasnt ready... "Why don't you and I go to the Cloudy Gorge tomorrow at dawn?" She offered, hoping he would open up when they were alone.

Darkflame smirked up at Moonblossom. He sidestepped when she landed on the ground, then when she had not gotten up yet he bowled her over, securing her claws and muzzle in place, his teeth at her neck.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nightclaw took a sharp glance around, then nodded swiftly. "Meet you tomorrow at dawn then."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  60. Berylmist smiled softly. "Yeah, sure," she purred. There was a pause, then she looked back up at him from gazing absently into the distance. "So you wanna go again?" She offered.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Nightclaw nodded, shaking himself out from Berylmist's mesmerizing gaze. "Yeah, sure. Let's go again."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  62. (LOL i know, right? :)

Moonblossom's eyes narrowed playfully. "You win," she said, her heart punding in her chest. "Your turn to be the bird," Moonblossom said.
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  63. Darkflame grinned at her. "I see I haven't lost my touch," he pretended to claw her again before bumping her playfully on the shoulder. He climbed swiftly up the tree and looked down, being as still as possible under the shade of the snowy tree. He suddenly feinted a leap, then actually launched himself forward to Moonblossom.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Berylmsist smiled softly at Nightclaw. "Do you want to leap? Or should I?"

    ReplyDelete
  65. Nightclaw shuffled his paws, staring at the ground. "You pick."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  66. Berylmist cocked her head to the side, pretending to think for a while, then suddenly launched herself forward, bowling Nightclaw over. Soon, her teeth were at his neck.

    ReplyDelete
  67. A growl escaped Nightclaw unintentionally. With shocked eyes, the deputy rolled over, pinning Berylmist down. His eyes relaxed, then he smirked.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  68. Berylmist laughed. "I still won," she told him playfully. "I would've ripped your throat out if you were an actual hawk or something." She narrowed her eyes at him, pretending to be dark and fierce.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Nightclaw batted Berylmist's ear, smiling. "Sure you would..." A hint of sarcasm littered his voice, but he flicked his tail brightly.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  70. "Do you doubt my hunting skills? I recently brought three birds and two mice back the other day!" She gave him a look.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Nightclaw grinned. "How do I know you didn't just find those...or ask someone to hunt for you?"

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  72. Berylmist glared at him indignantly. "Because a warrior never asks another to do their share of work, and it's too much of a coincedence that I just conveniently found five pieces of prey lying dead on the ground," she told him, using her logic as a tactic.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Nightclaw's ear twitched impatiently, a sigh letting out. "Let me have some fun, okay?" His tabby tail brushed over Berylmist's ear playfully, hidden smirk on him.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  74. Berylmist stared at him, opening her mouth to tell him that a deputy must NEVER lose concentration on his duties, and should not be having real fun in a training session before she decided to let it go. She was asking him to tell her who he liked in the clan, anyway. She shrugged. "Whatever, deputy."

    ReplyDelete
  75. Nightclaw glanced over to Darkflame, a look flashing across his eyes. "Here, you be the bird."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  76. Berylmist nodded. "Okay. You ready?"

    ReplyDelete
  77. Nightclaw's eyes narrowed in concentration. "Go for it."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  78. Berylmist nodded and got into a ready position, not moving forward but backward into the ferns. There was suddenly no sign of her, then there was a rustle from BEHIND Nightclaw, and a blue-gray streak shot out, slamming into Nightclaw, her hind legs securing his claws, one paw on his neck and the other on his muzzle.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Nightclaw rolled over, the rage of battle flickering in his eyes for a split second. He pushed Berylmist over, pinning her down with dark tabby paws.

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  80. Berylmist grinned up at him again. "Please remember, O Wise Deputy, that birds cannot roll over or push a cat over," she flicked her tail in amusement.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Moonblossom, acting on pure instinct, leaped for Darkflame at the same time he leaped. They crashed, dropping to the ground like stones. "Ouch," Moonblossom meowed, letting out a mrow of laughter. "Guess there are two birds here."
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  82. Darkflame laughed. "Yeah, except birds fly," he grinned, referring to their fall.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Nightclaw had a confused glint in his eyes, still pinning Berylmist down. "Aren't you the bird?"

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  84. (O, right. ^^)

    Berylmist's tail twitched. "I don't know, am I?"

    ReplyDelete
  85. Moonblossom purred. "Right you are," she said. "Let's try again."
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  86. (Haha :P)

Nightclaw stared into her eyes, stepping off. He shook his head frustratedly. "Nevermind. We'll start over or something."

    - Nightclaw -

    ReplyDelete
  87. Berylmist stared at him for a moment longer, then laughed. "Yeah, okay."

Darkflame smiled. "You can be the bird this time."

    ReplyDelete
  88. Moonblossom looked down as Leafpaw raced into the clearing. "Brookstar's having a meeting, and it's important," she said breathlessly. "I've already gotten Silverpaw."
    ~Moonblossom and Leafpaw

    ReplyDelete
  89. Darkflame looked up, then exchanged a glance with Moonblossom. "I suppose we have to go now," he told her, shrugging. "Let's go."
He turned to the rest of the group, then announced: "Alright, you guys. Good training session, it's coming along well. Leafpaw here," he gestured to the young apprentice with his tail, "Has informed us that Brookstar is having a meeting. We must go back to camp." He looked to Leafpaw. "Thank you for informing me."
