The HighStone has been renamed the EagleLedge. We need queens.

We all know that the Falcon/Breeze/Cedar prophecy was, obviously, a failure. Should we have a second one? Any ideas for it? Vote on the poll and tell me your ideas at the Information Page!

Also, look at the history of FalconClan, named The Feathers of a Falcon (its in the sidebar, under "Important Pages")

I've changed the limit of cats per person from 6 to no limit at all. However, don't go crazy with your number of cats, or I may ask you to kill or send away one or two of them. Thanks!

Willow Stream

Near the border between FalconClan and CloverClan, the Willow Stream is a beautiful stream, where willows drape over the water. Here you can relax, drink water, or if you can, fish. It is also a good place to hunt, as there are many a prey that come here for water.

  1. Azurepaw waited at the camp entrance, always earlier than the plan dictated. She never dared be late- it was always a day early rather than a heartbeat late. It was a rule she set for herself. She looked around, tail curled neatly around her paws, expression calm and patient.

  2. Skypaw padded out from the apprentices' den, parting his jaws in a huge yawn. He looked over to the entrance and smiled. "Hey Azurepaw. You ready to go?" Skypaw shook off the last of his weariness from his nap.

  3. Azurepaw was always more calm and the opposite of her eager, hyper self later in the day. "Yup," she nodded. Her tail swished around, lifting a huge shower of leaves. Ignoring a Skypaw that was being rained on and pelted by leaves, she padded off silently through the entrance tunnel.

  4. Skypaw walked just behind Azurepaw, taking in the deep comfort of the willows. He smiled, and glanced at Azurepaw, then pelted across the forest, hoping his friend would catch up. He kept running, reaching the stream, then splashing in, letting the cold waves wash over his snow white fur.

  5. Azurepaw's eyes widened as Skypaw smiled at her and raced off. Her eyes narrowed, and shot off after him. The minute he landed in the stream, she leaped right over his head and dove gracefully (can cats even do that?!) into the water. She came back up with her tail facing Skypaw and purposely kicked water onto his head right when he came back up. Azurepaw whirled back, laughing as he glared at her.

  6. (Whoa....idk.)

Skypaw shook his head, removing the excess water, and dove in after her. He swam, his eyes blinking out the water, and paddled deeper in. The apprentice waited, just until Azurepaw came up for air, and headed back to the surface, splashing water back at her, and swimming down once more, his blue eyes blinking, watching the brown tabby as she followed.

  7. Azurepaw growled playfully at the other apprentice and didn't even bother to dive back in before using her front paws to splash Skypaw. She then quickly swam to the shore and leaped away from the white tom to avoid getting splashed again. Azurepaw shook the water off herself, purposely spraying Skypaw again before dancing away once more.

  8. Skypaw shook his head in frustration. He followed Azurepaw up to the surface, paddling his paws over and over, finally catching up with her. He dove in just before Azurepaw turned to check, and swam to the opposite side of where his friend was facing. Skypaw splashed her back, and dove back underwater, forcing his body to swim before he was splashed again.

  9. Azurepaw laughed but didn't splash back, she just sat on the back after shaking off the water droplets clinging to her fur. She waited until Skypaw came back up and smiled at him. "Come on, get out. It's freezing. Besides, we came here for hunting, not to practice our water-splashing skills," she reprimanded him teasingly, but only half joking.

  10. Skypaw smiled. "Good point." He padded out of the water, shaking the water out of his fur. A bird chirped up ahead, soaring down to the root of a birch tree. Skypaw crouched, narrowing his eyes, moving forward quickly. The bird squawked cautiously, turning his head back and forth, pecking at the tree. The snow white apprentice pounced, sinking his claws into the blackbird, and killed it while coming down, the bird hanging limp from his jaws.

  11. (OMG! We could go help Berylmist and Nightclaw!)
Azurepaw stalked a mouse, and killed it messily. Who cared? She killed it! Her first kill! She was overjoyed until she heard a deafening, terror-filled screech (Berylmist) and then a: "BERYLMIST!"
She froze, her heart pounding at the familiar sound of her kin (yes, Berylmist was her older sister). "Skypaw! We have to save her! Where do you think they are?!"

    ReplyDelete
  12. Skypaw's ears pricked at the sound of the screech. "This way!" He flicked his tail toward a part of the forest, and disappeared a second later.

  13. Azurepaw pounded after the white apprentice, her tail streaming out behind her as she sped into the forest. She realized he was taking her to The Maple Wood. "The Maple Wood?" She yowled after him.

  14. Brookstar walked onto the riverbank, watching Stormpaw explain to his foster sister about the territory of the clans.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Stormpaw flicked his tail to the border. "And across that border is EchoClan." He looked back at the group. "I.....I think that's it."

  16. Brookstar stepped behind them, smiling slightly. "Good explanation, Skypaw," she mewed. "You'd make a good mentor someday." Turning to Snowpaw, she mewed, "Right! Show me your best hunter's crouch."

    ReplyDelete
  17. (Skypaw, you mean Stormpaw?)

"Have you ever been outside of FalconClan?" She whispered to Stormpaw then crouched down. Stonepaw had taught her when she was in the nursery. "Did I do it right?"

  18. (Sorry, this is Alado, i forgot I'm on Feather's account, lmao)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Brookstar smiled. "Almost. Keep your haunches down a little more, and press your belly to the ground, just not too much. Move forward now- remember to keep your paws as light as possible."

    ReplyDelete
  20. Stormpaw nodded. "Somewhat." He glanced to Snowpaw's paws. "Not bad, actually."

  21. Moonblossom and Darkflame were taking a walk at the edge of the stream. Moonblossom halted. "Darkflame? Can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked. They were under the shady branches of a willow tree, and it was quiet and peaceful. Before he could respond, Moonblossom went on. She knew she was taking a plunge with her heart, but there was a restless energy inside her. She didn't want it to go wrong like it had the last time. "Darkflame-I-am-in-love-with-you," she said. The words came out stiffly, but with feeling. Moonblossom's eyes were wide. Did he love her back?
    ~Moonblossom

  22. Darkflame tensed, and he slowly swiveled around to face Moonblossom. "I... Really? I mean... do you... are you really in love with me? Because, well, this is really stupid, I mean not stupid, not the you love me if you do thing, but the fact that well, I love you too, but I don't know whether you really... what?" He stumbled over his words, babbling nonsense as he tried to make sense of his own feelings. Why would he love her too? Wasn't he supposed to not care about anything except putting his strength into his clan? What was happening to him?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Moonblossom smiled widely, her eyes shining. "That's great," she mewed. Moonblossom looked at Darkflame, noticing that his expression was torn. "Taking a mate and having kits is a great way to serve your Clan," she mewed, knowing him. "Your kits will grow into strong warriors, who will benefit the Clan." Moonblossom cautiously twined her tail with his. "I would like kits," she mewed. "I've never had that experience, and I would really like to."

  24. Darkflame hesitated, then leaned down and brushed her muzzle with his. "I know, Moonblossom," he whispered to her, hiding his smile as he licked her forehead.

  26. Moonblossom purred, absolutely overjoyed. "I knew it," she mewed. Moonblossom savored the moment, wrapped in Darkflame's comforting scent. She then drew back with a soft smile. "Darkflame," she began. "I have wonderful news." Moonblossom took a deep breath, closing her eyes and then opening them, looking right into Darkflame's ice-blue ones. "I'm going to have your kits," she mewed. "Two, I think. What will we name them?"
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  27. Darkflame's eyes widened. "Really? Now? I mean, duh, of course not, I--" he cut himself off, calming down, knowing he couldn't get nervous now. But seriously, when did they...? "That's great, Moonblossom. I know our kits will be as beautiful as you." He grinned at her, his same playful grin he gave her whenever they were together, the grin that he never showed anyone else. "We should probably name them after they're born, but I have this feeling that one should be named Willowkit." He gave her another grin, pressing into her flank.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Moonblossom nodded. "And the other should be named Midnightkit." She purred, nuzzling her mate. She was more open and herself around him, not the ice queen like she was around the other cats. Moonblossom purred, looking at the slight bulge in her belly. "They should be born in a moon or two," she said.

  29. Darkflame smiled down at her, curling around his mate. "That's great," he purred, touching her muzzle with his. "If you feel anything, you go straight to Violetgaze's den and get someone to call me, okay?" His silvery blue eyes bore into hers as he meowed, pleading for her to do as he asked. "I don't want anything to go wrong."

    ReplyDelete
  30. Moonblossom laughed, relishing the fact that she and Darkflame were now mates. "Don't worry," she mewed. "Nothing will go wrong. Let's get back to camp. I'm starving."
    ~Moonblossom

    ReplyDelete
  31. Darkflame laughed slightly, and twined his tail with hers. "Let's go," he mewed, and together the mates made their way back to camp with their pelts brushing.

    ReplyDelete
  32. "Thank you." She smiled and blushed at the compliments.

  33. Brookstar nodded curtly. "Good. Now, let's see if your hunting crouch works. Look at that water vole over there - try to catch it." She did not give her apprentice any pointers, but instead inspected her reaction and skills so she could improve on the things she needed improving on. Brookstar glanced at Stormpaw, silently telling him to stay quiet.

  34. Stormpaw's ear twitched, nodding swiftly.

  35. Brookstar turned her gaze on Snowpaw and watched her intently as she stalked the rodent.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Snowpaw moved forward on silent paws, judging her pawsteps carefully. When she was within reach she was about to leap when her tail rustled some undergrowth, making the vole dart away.
"I'm sorry." Snowpaw looked away, her fur ruffled with embaressment. "I should've remembered to keep my tail still."

  37. Brookstar nodded curtly. "Yes, you should have," she told her apprentice tartly. "Never mind then, wipe that disappointed look off your face. You can try again." Seeing Stormpaw's mildly shocked expression at her harsh words, she flicked her tail irritably. "I must train my apprentices hard, Stormpaw," Brookstar told the older apprentice. "Or they will never learn."

    ReplyDelete
  38. "O-okay." Snowpaw stuttered. She didn't know if she could become the warrior Brookstar was training so hard for her too be. I just can't get things right! She thought.

  39. Brookstar watched Snowpaw stammer, and momentarily wondered whether she had been too hard on the young apprentice. "Go on, then," the leader encouraged. "There's a woodmouse near that bush," Brookstar waved her tail towards the little creature nibbling on a seed on the edge of the forest.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Snowpaw nodded and vowed she would get it this time. She crept forward and leaped, coming out of the ferns with the moues in her jaws. A grin smiling on her face.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Brookstar nodded approvingly. "Good for a second time. Now thank StarClan for its life," she told Snowpaw, watching the apprentice expressionlessly.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Snowpaw nodded and gave her thanks to her fallen ancestors. She than looked up expectantly at Brookstar.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Brookstar waved her tail at the piece of prey. "Now bury it, so we can retrieve it later. Try not to extend your claws too much, or you'll never get the soil out of them for ages."

    ReplyDelete
  44. "Alright." Snowpaw did as she was told and buried her catch. She came back flicking the dirt off of her paws.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Brookstar nodded. "Good, let's--" she stopped talking when she spotted a sparrow at the edge of the water. The leader stalked it from at an angle, knowing that it could see her from behind. With a great leap, Brookstar hooked its wing with her claw and brought it down, dispatching it with a pound to its head.

  46. Willowlilly looked down at the water, panting.
    "isn't it beautiful?"

    ReplyDelete
  47. Stormpaw smiled, flicking his ear toward a bush off to the right. After a rustle, a plump vole padded out into the open, looking for food. Instinctively, the apprentice crouched down, his tail just above the ground. Stormpaw pounced, holding down the vole with a light gray paw and biting down on it's neck.

  48. Brookstar smiled at Stormpaw. "Excellent," she told him. She turned to Snowpaw. "Did you see how he did that? Those movements you should adopt when you're hunting mice, voles, or shrews."

    ReplyDelete
  49. "Good job!" Snowpaw congratulated Stormpaw and she looked at Brookstar and nodded.

    Stormtalon smiled, "It is."

    ReplyDelete
  50. Brookstar nodded back at her apprentice. "Good, then. My movements were for hunting birds, but I'll teach you that later. For now, why don't you practice hunting rodents some more? We'll perfect one, then move to the next one."

    ReplyDelete
  51. "So.. Where do you want to hunt?" Willowlilly asked.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "Alright." Snowpaw smiled.

    "Anywhere you'd like." Stormtalon meowed.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Stormpaw smiled, burying the vole nearby. "Thanks."

    - Stormpaw -

  54. Suddenly, Willowlilly spotted leaves shifting next to a tree root, and Willowlilly dropped into a crouch. She crept up as silent as a snake, and killed the mouse with one blow.

    ReplyDelete
  55. "You're welcome." Snowpaw grinned.

"You're an amazing hunter." Stormtalon watched, highly impressed.

    ReplyDelete
  56. "thanks." (Should something happen?)

    ReplyDelete
  57. "You're welcome." Stormtalon smiled.

    (Sure, doesn't matter to me)

    ReplyDelete
  58. "Let's head back, and hunt along the way, shall we?" Brookstar swept her tail across the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Stormpaw smiled. "Let's go th-" He cut off his sentence as the smell of rabbit lingered in the air. A flash of brown dashed down the path, Stormpaw soon after it. He pounced, pinning the rabbit down, and sinking his teeth into it's neck. The piece of prey went limp, and soon the apprentice was back with Brookstar and Snowpaw, digging up his vole. Two plump pieces of prey sat in front of his paws, Stormpaw grinning widely.

  60. Brookstar rolled her eyes but nodded. "Okay, good job. Let's go." She dug up her bird and set off into the forest.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "You're a great hunter," Snowpaw congratulated Stormpaw. "I only caught one measley mouse that might feed one of the elders." She giggled and followed Brookstar.

    ReplyDelete
  62. how bout a hawk or umm.... a badger? oooh I got it! Willowlilly falls in the river! Do you like it?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Stormpaw smiled. "I've had practice. I bet you'll be better than me with a little more practice." He brought up the back, checking behind him, ear twitching.
