The HighStone has been renamed the EagleLedge. We need queens.

We all know that the Falcon/Breeze/Cedar prophecy was, obviously, a failure. Should we have a second one? Any ideas for it? Vote on the poll and tell me your ideas at the Information Page!

Also, look at the history of FalconClan, named The Feathers of a Falcon (its in the sidebar, under "Important Pages")

I've changed the limit of cats per person from 6 to no limit at all. However, don't go crazy with your number of cats, or I may ask you to kill or send away one or two of them. Thanks!

Hawthorn Wood

The Hawthorn Wood borders the Ash and Maple Wood, and is directly across the Aspen wood. It is the largest Wood of the four main sections of the forest. It is unknown why it is named the Hawthorn Wood, as not many of the trees here are hawthorns. Perhaps the serviceberry trees that prosper in this Wood was mistaken for a hawthorn because they both have fragrant, beautiful snowy white flowers in the spring. Many birds are attracted to this Wood, and a stream runs through the middle of this Wood. Almost every type of freshkill can be found here.

  1. Moonblossom followed Talonstrike into the Hawthorn wood and almost immediately was on the trail of a mouse.

  2. Talonstrike led Frostpelt over, and mewed a greeting to Moonblossom. "Sorry we're late," he apologized, eyes twinkling. "Frostpelt here decided to do some pre-hunting exercises," he grinned, nudging the white she-cat playfully.

  3. Brookstar had caught a squirrel and two more rodents, one a mouse and the other a shrew. She buried them and settled to watch the younger cats practice their skills.

  4. Stormpaw pounced, scrabbling to try to hook his claw onto the wing of the sparrow. The piece of prey was lucky; it flew away just in time. He had caught a fish along with his vole and rabbit before, but the other attempts had failed. He focused his blue eyes on Snowpaw, watching her crouch along the forest floor.

  5. Snowpaw crouched low, letting her paws glide over the forest floor as she stalked a thrush. She grinned and leaped but it was a heartbeat to late. The bird took off but she sprang into the air, clawing it out of the air, she quickly killed it and brought it back to Stormpaw and Brookstar.

  6. Stormpaw grinned. "Nice catch." He looked over to Brookstar, wondering if she would praise Snowpaw, or if there was something with her stances that he missed. Stormpaw didn't think the leader would say that, especially if Snowpaw caught it. But anything can happen.

  7. (lol its okay)

Brookstar nodded. "Good enough, but try to be earlier. You were too late. Next time approach it from an angle. You should be thankful to StarClan for giving you strong legs. Moving on!" She ordered with pretty much no feeling. "And Stormpaw, I expected better of you, even if you're not my apprentice. I'll have to tell Flarestorm to train you harder on hunting."

    (something should happen...)

  8. (I can never make long comments! XD)

Snowpaw looked at Stormpaw and rolled her eyes. "I think he's a good hunter." She meowed, "better than me anyways."

    ReplyDelete
  9. (Yeah...but what?)

Stormpaw shrugged. "I was an apprentice before you. That's the only reason."

  10. (maybe... fox?)

"Exactly," Brookstar told Snowpaw before scenting a squirrel and quickly caught it with a couple leaps and a swift bite. "You should both be learning from another, watching each other's mistakes. You can't learn by thinking you're good at something. You have to be criticized." The stern leader finished burying her catch as she finished speaking.

  11. (Okay then.)

Stormpaw nodded slowly, parting his jaws to speak when a scent came above all the prey. Something really familiar, one that Flarestorm had told him to remember. "Brookstar? There's-" The leader turned to look at him as a rustle in the bushes cut him off. "Fox!"

  12. Brookstar cursed herself silently. Why hadn't she realized that it was closer than she had thought? She shielded Snowpaw with her body. "There's at least two. Run, Snowpaw! Go look for help! Stormpaw, can you take that one?" She gestured to a smallish but still muscular ginger one. The leader barely had enough time to call more instructions before the large russet one launched itself at her.

  13. Stormpaw gave Brookstar a swift nod, leaping onto the small fox. He struggled to hold on, scrabbling at it's pelt. The fox snarled, throwing the apprentice off.
Scraping his pads in the dirt, Stormpaw braced himself as the fox came tumbling down to him. He slid under, raking his claws across it's belly before sliding out and pouncing once more on its back.

  14. Brookstar dodged the fox's attack and scraped her claws along its side as she whipped by before spinning back around again, racing towards it and turning at the last minute to press her hind paws deep into the ground and ram into the fox's side, bowling them over. She slashed at its soft belly then leapt away before it could retaliate and crouched, ready for its next attack.

  15. (Who should I get?)

Snowpaw nodded and raced into the forest toward the camp. "Foxes!" She yowled.

  16. (um, Darkflame, Nightshadow, Azurefern, Flarestorm)

  17. Stormpaw gave the fox a menacing snarl, pouncing and going into a roll. He felt the fox's claws tear through his ear, the warm, red liquid dripping to the ground.

  18. Brookstar heard Stormpaw's yelp of pain and she growled in fury. She gave the fox she was fighting a couple good bites and scratches then leapt off it, landing on the back of the smaller fox, latching her claws into its back as it tried to throw her off. She clamped down hard on its neck and the fox yowled in agony, rearing up, but Brookstar wasn't willing to let go yet.

  19. Stormpaw backed up, fur bristling. His torn ear stung like crazy, but as he watched Brookstar fight off the smaller fox, he felt as helpless as ever. The larger fox had started to recover, and pretty soon Stormpaw would have to fight one of them. Snowpaw! Hurry up and grab a patrol!

    - Stormpaw -

  20. Brookstar pretty much shredded its ears and got off it, paying her attention on the larger fox again. "Go for its extremities!" Brookstar called to Stormpaw as she went for the huge russet creature. She hissed and clawed at its eyes in anger.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Stormpaw leaped back onto the fox instinctively, scratching furiously at the fox's pelt, feeling flesh beneath his claws. In practical anger, he sunk his teeth into the fox's right shoulder.

  22. Brookstar slashed her claws on the fox over and over again, feeling the fox thrash around, trying to kick her off. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the bushes and another fox, dark ginger, leapt from the trees to help its friends.

  23. Stormpaw left the smaller fox, as it was pretty much shedding blood everywhere. He pounced, snarling at the other fox. The apprentice clawed at its flank, clinging desperately to it's struggling body.

  24. Brookstar groaned under her breath. Sure, she still had eight lives left, but even then she and the apprentice couldn't beat three foxes. She bit into the foxes neck, feeling the tangy taste of blood in her mouth. The leader, out of the corner of her eyes, saw the smaller fox racing towards her in fury. Come ON, Snowpaw, we're losing here! She thought desperately.

  25. Snowpaw returned with a patrol she watched helplessly but she knew if she got in the fight she'd just be a nussiance.

  26. Stormpaw struggled with the fox, clawing furiously. He glanced up to see Snowpaw standing there with worried eyes. With his blue eyes, he stared at her intently, trying to get her to help.

  27. Snowpaw instantly knew and ran to his side, she lunged at the fox, her claws extended, she felt claws meet flesh succeedingly.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Brookstar felt the patrol rush on and she breathed a sigh of relief. "Darkflame! Nightshadow! Take the large one. Azurefern, the small one. Flarestorm, help your apprentice!" She went ahead and tugged Snowpaw off the fox and put her apprentice down. "Okay, Snowpaw, watch us fight and learn, alright?" Brookstar then launched herself on Azurefern's fox to help her.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Snowpaw frowned and muttered, "I know how to fight."

Flarestorm nodded and leaped to Stormpaw's side, he batted the fox and pushed it towards Stormpaw.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Brookstar and Azurefern battled the little fox until it ran away, squealing... only to be replaced by another one. Brookstar hissed and leapt onto it, but was thrown to the side by a massive whack from the fox's paw.
Darkflame pounced gracefully on the huge russet fox, clawing fiercely at its ears and extremities.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Stormpaw pounced, scratching furiously, aiming multiple times for its neck. He dug his claws into its pelt, holding on. With one quick look at Flarestorm, Stormpaw flicked his tail to the fox urgently.

  32. (sry, just realized that the patrol arrived :/)

Nightshadow leaped forwards to help Darkflame, green eyes filled with rage. "Stupid fox!" she hissed as she batted at its pelt.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Flarestorm dove forward and knocked the foxs' paws out from under itself.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Stormpaw braced himself as the fox collapsed, taking the apprentice with it. He leaned down swiftly, biting down on the neck, until the fox had started to writhe in pain from under his paws.

  35. Darkflame gave Nightshadow a grateful nod as he bit down hard on the fox's ear, holding onto its back with his long, curved claws.
Brookstar scored her claws across the flank of the fox as Azurefern tripped it and pummeled its stomach.

  36. Nightclaw's patrol padded along the border to IceClan, Berylmist scenting the air. "Feel anything?" She asked.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Nightclaw's ear twitched. "Not yet..." They padded along in silence until a rustle in the bushes sounded off to the left. "What was that?" he hissed.

  38. Azurefern's eyes narrowed and she glanced at the bushes, and Berylmist padded forward slightly. Suddenly Chillingheart, Icebreeze, Mousepaw, Voleheart, and Tumblepaw of IceClan burst out of the bushes and landed on the patrol. What?!?! Why didn't we scent them? Was the last thing Berylmist thought before she was pounced on by a mud-covered Voleheart. That mud must have masked it, Berylmist realized, slashing at his neck.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nightclaw's amber eyes widened in surprise as Chillingheart bowled him over. He snarled, launching himself onto the IceClan cat, raking at the intruder's pelt.

    Nightclawxx

(I have no idea how I'm supposed to describe Chillingheart. I don't even know it's gender, although I guessed it's a tom...)

    ReplyDelete
  40. (He's a dark tabby tom with amber eyes. Icebreeze is a blue-gray tabby, like Berylmist, except she has green eyes. They are actually cousins. Voleheart is a light brown tom and has blue eyes. Mousepaw is a brown she-cat with darker flecks and amber eyes, and Tumblepaw is a long-haired gray tom with yellow eyes.)

Azurefern was battling with Icebreeze. "We're outnumbered!" Azurefern called desperately, seeing Tumblepaw and Mousepaw launch themselves at Berylmist.

    ReplyDelete
  41. (Oh, okay thanks. ^^)

Nightclaw ran his claws across Chillingheart's muzzle, drawing him back. "We need reinforcements!" He glanced at the others quickly as he aimed another blow at Chillingheart.

  42. "I'll go!" Azurefern shot off like a dart, and Berylmist nodded slightly. She was the fastest of all of them, that much was true. The blue-gray warrior slashed her claws as she battled.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Nightclaw stole a glance at Azurefern as she sped off. Right then and there, Chillingheart saw his chance. He pounced, pinning FalconClan's deputy down. Nightclaw tried pushing him off, but the warrior was putting all his strength into pinning him down.

  44. Azurefern, five minutes later, came back with Dawnshadow, Crowflight, Goldenshine, and Stormpaw, while Berylmist yowled in pain as Tumblepaw bit down hard on her tail.

(feel free to play Crowflight, since Sunset said we could use him)

    ReplyDelete
  45. (Alright. By the way, I made a mistake. It's Stormpath now. ^^)

Goldenshine snarled, leaping onto the nearest warrior. She raked her claws across Voleheart's back, struggling to aim at his throat.

Stormpath bared his teeth, swiping Tumblepaw away from Berylmist and tumbling into their own battle.

  46. (Oh, right. STORMPATH!!!!! :D)

Berylmist, bleeding heavily from the throat, staggered away from Mousepaw when Dawnshadow shoved her out of the way and attacked Mousepaw and Icebreeze at the same time. Berylmist stumbled forward and tried to help Nightclaw with Chillingheart. Crowflight seemed to have torn Icebreeze off Dawnshadow and was now tussling with her on the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  47. (Haha)

Nightclaw glanced briefly at Berylmist, grateful for the help until he saw what pain she was in. Worry clouded his eyes and Chillingheart saw his chance. The IceClan warrior swiped at his muzzle, making it bleed. Nightclaw winced, pushing Berylmist back. "You can't fight in the condition you're in," he growled, then lunged at Chillingheart.
