The HighStone has been renamed the EagleLedge. We need queens.

We all know that the Falcon/Breeze/Cedar prophecy was, obviously, a failure. Should we have a second one? Any ideas for it? Vote on the poll and tell me your ideas at the Information Page!

Also, look at the history of FalconClan, named The Feathers of a Falcon (its in the sidebar, under "Important Pages")

I've changed the limit of cats per person from 6 to no limit at all. However, don't go crazy with your number of cats, or I may ask you to kill or send away one or two of them. Thanks!

The Whispering Storm

Brookstar was giving the details of her dream to Nightclaw when a yowl sounded outside. She exchanged alarmed glances with her deputy, and they both stepped out. Dawnshadow, Brookstar's sister, was leading two she-cats into the camp with her patrol. One was smaller than the other a russet ginger, though she looked like she could take on one of the other older warriors with ease. The other one, a brown tabby, was gazing warily around, seeming like she already know the younger cat, though they looked nothing alike.

"Who're you two?" She sat down in front of them as her sister, Flarestorm, Stormpath, and Hawkflower joined the rest of the clan.
"Storm," the smaller cat replied strongly, looking at the leader challengingly.
"Whisper," the other added, more calmly, though her eyes shone with a threatening light. "Why are we here?"
"Because you two either looked lost or like you could be a clan cat. Or both, more likely," Brookstar responded easily with a lazy flick of her tail. "So, here's our preposition." She was caught in Storm's silver eyes, and suddenly she realized why her name was Storm. "You join our clan, and you get to both protect and be protected, both fight and be fought for, or leave now and never mention our clan to anyone. Of course, we could also kill you, if you'd prefer that option."
"That's alright, thanks," Storm shot back just as coolly. "I'll have a little trial run here, yeah? See what it's like."
Whisper sent Storm a sharp look, but sighed. "It seems like we'll be staying, er..." She trailed off, not knowing Brookstar's name.
"Brookstar," the leader told her, realizing what Whisper meant. "My name is Brookstar, leader of FalconClan."
"Then we'll stay, Brookstar." Whisper gave her a nod.
"Very well."

She jumped onto the EagleStone and called for her clan to gather. "We have two cats joining today," Brookstar announced, and a ripple of interest ran through her cats. "Storm and Whisper." There's already a Stormpath, Brookstar noted to herself, but shrugged mentally. It didn't matter, she supposed.
"Storm and Whisper, do you promise to protect and defend the warrior code and your clan, even at the cost of your very life?"
The two looked uncertain until Dawnshadow nudged them and muttered, "Say 'I do'."
"I do."
"I do." The two voices were certain.
"Then with the powers of StarClan I name you Stormpaw and Whisperstreak. Sunshadow will mentor Stormpaw. We welcome you as apprentice and warrior of FalconClan." Brookstar placed her muzzle on Whisperstreak's forehead, and at Dawnshadow's instructions, she licked her shoulder. Brookstar performed the same procedure with Stormpaw, and the clan cheered, seeing the new cats become part of their community.
"Stormpaw! Whisperstreak! Stormpaw! Whisperstreak!" They called, and with a murmured, "Show them around," Brookstar disappeared into her den.

Dawnshadow smiled warmly at the two as Sunshadow trotted up and grinned down at Stormpaw. "I've already explained the rules of a clan to them, so I'll show Whisperstreak around, and you start training Stormpaw, alright?" Dawnshadow said to Sunshadow, who nodded his agreement. "Great. Come on, Whisperstreak. I'll show you the warrior's den."

Apology and Prophecy

Hi! Anyway, I'd like to apologize for my absence. I'm really sorry for not being on and all that, but I'm still blogging, so.... sorry, and I hope you all forgive me. Anyway, here's he start of a prophecy! Still not sure exactly what it'lll be about yet, but here's the prompt:

Brookstar, as most leaders probably did, collapsed into her soft nest with a groan. She was exhausted. The life of a leader seemed magnanimous and lofty, but it was really quite tiring. It wouldn't be long until she got too old, and Nightclaw became leader. She closed her eyelids, tucked her nose in her tail, and promptly felt the blackness of slumber take her.

She was in the dark. Well, kind of. There was a full moon where she was, and she seemed to be sitting on some dead grass and leaves. Looking around, the leader realized that this location was rather familiar... strange, she thought. With a sickening pang of fear Brookstar realized that this was her camp. This was the heart of FalconClan, destroyed, gone, abandoned, dead... She stretched her eyes wide and backed away slowly. "No... how could this..."

"You're seeing the future, Brooklight." The voice of Eaglestar, the first leader of FalconClan. Brooklight. She hadn't heard that in so long. It was her warrior name. "You're seeing what'll happen to your clan."

"Eaglestar! I... how could this be? I thought I was a good leader, I thought I lead FalconClan well... will I fail them? Oh, StarClan..." Brookstar shook her head frantically.

"Fear not, Brooklight. What will go on in the future will be affected by what you do. By what your clanmates will do. This is your choice, Brooklight. You can save it or destroy it... Brooklight, what will you do?"

"I'll save it! I'll do whatever it takes... I'll give my life for it, Eaglestar!" Brookstar looked around in a panic, searching for the amber eyes of Eaglestar to look into, to assure...

"Remember, Brooklight, one will come for the Falcon, one will come for the light..." His voice faded away.

"No! No, tell me the rest of the prophecy! Tell me--" She jolted awake, breathing heavily. The round yellow eyes of Nightclaw stared into hers.

"Brookstar? You alright?"

Brookstar shook the prophetic dream away. "Yeah, yeah I..." she hesitated, and then made her decision. "Look, I've got to tell you something."

(the actual prophecy is:
One will come for the Falcon,
One will come for the Light.
And she will come save the Falcon,
She will make all wrong right.

There will be four to aid
To help protect our future
From the inevitable raid
And from the undoubted torture.

So, there'll be four cats (one of you guys!) and help the leader of the five (my character) to help save falconclan! i'll give you the other details later!)
