The HighStone has been renamed the EagleLedge. We need queens.

We all know that the Falcon/Breeze/Cedar prophecy was, obviously, a failure. Should we have a second one? Any ideas for it? Vote on the poll and tell me your ideas at the Information Page!

Also, look at the history of FalconClan, named The Feathers of a Falcon (its in the sidebar, under "Important Pages")

I've changed the limit of cats per person from 6 to no limit at all. However, don't go crazy with your number of cats, or I may ask you to kill or send away one or two of them. Thanks!

The Whispering Storm

Brookstar was giving the details of her dream to Nightclaw when a yowl sounded outside. She exchanged alarmed glances with her deputy, and they both stepped out. Dawnshadow, Brookstar's sister, was leading two she-cats into the camp with her patrol. One was smaller than the other a russet ginger, though she looked like she could take on one of the other older warriors with ease. The other one, a brown tabby, was gazing warily around, seeming like she already know the younger cat, though they looked nothing alike.

"Who're you two?" She sat down in front of them as her sister, Flarestorm, Stormpath, and Hawkflower joined the rest of the clan.
"Storm," the smaller cat replied strongly, looking at the leader challengingly.
"Whisper," the other added, more calmly, though her eyes shone with a threatening light. "Why are we here?"
"Because you two either looked lost or like you could be a clan cat. Or both, more likely," Brookstar responded easily with a lazy flick of her tail. "So, here's our preposition." She was caught in Storm's silver eyes, and suddenly she realized why her name was Storm. "You join our clan, and you get to both protect and be protected, both fight and be fought for, or leave now and never mention our clan to anyone. Of course, we could also kill you, if you'd prefer that option."
"That's alright, thanks," Storm shot back just as coolly. "I'll have a little trial run here, yeah? See what it's like."
Whisper sent Storm a sharp look, but sighed. "It seems like we'll be staying, er..." She trailed off, not knowing Brookstar's name.
"Brookstar," the leader told her, realizing what Whisper meant. "My name is Brookstar, leader of FalconClan."
"Then we'll stay, Brookstar." Whisper gave her a nod.
"Very well."

She jumped onto the EagleStone and called for her clan to gather. "We have two cats joining today," Brookstar announced, and a ripple of interest ran through her cats. "Storm and Whisper." There's already a Stormpath, Brookstar noted to herself, but shrugged mentally. It didn't matter, she supposed.
"Storm and Whisper, do you promise to protect and defend the warrior code and your clan, even at the cost of your very life?"
The two looked uncertain until Dawnshadow nudged them and muttered, "Say 'I do'."
"I do."
"I do." The two voices were certain.
"Then with the powers of StarClan I name you Stormpaw and Whisperstreak. Sunshadow will mentor Stormpaw. We welcome you as apprentice and warrior of FalconClan." Brookstar placed her muzzle on Whisperstreak's forehead, and at Dawnshadow's instructions, she licked her shoulder. Brookstar performed the same procedure with Stormpaw, and the clan cheered, seeing the new cats become part of their community.
"Stormpaw! Whisperstreak! Stormpaw! Whisperstreak!" They called, and with a murmured, "Show them around," Brookstar disappeared into her den.

Dawnshadow smiled warmly at the two as Sunshadow trotted up and grinned down at Stormpaw. "I've already explained the rules of a clan to them, so I'll show Whisperstreak around, and you start training Stormpaw, alright?" Dawnshadow said to Sunshadow, who nodded his agreement. "Great. Come on, Whisperstreak. I'll show you the warrior's den."

  1. Whisperstreak gave him a swift nod, following him to the den in silence.

  2. [I can't read the highlighted part :|]

Nightshadow and Sunshadow (two shadows :O) both cheered with the other cats for the new warriors. Nightshadow turned to Berylmist, who was sitting beside her. "The clan sure has gotten a lot more cats, hasn't it?"

[The right sidebar is screwed up btw.....]

  4. (sorry about that. I think it glitched out.)
(WCL, I think you mean followed her into the den; Dawnshadow is a she-cat.)

Berylmist met Nightshadow's eyes with a purr. "Yes, it has," she agreed. "So many new cats... have you seen Stormpaw's eyes, though? They're so strange! It's like it's silver..."

Stormpaw gazed up at Sunshadow's dark form. "When're we going to start training?" She asked eagerly. "Am I going to see the territory?" So I could look around myself later on,Stormpaw added silently to herself.

  5. Nightshadow nodded. "Do you think that's natural?" she asked. "I've never seen it before...." The black she-cat drew her gaze from Stormpaw so that she wouldn't appear to gawk at the apprentice.

Sunshadow grinned down at his apprentice. "You're so eager," he said. "We can head out of the camp now, if you'd like."

  6. Berylmist turned her face to Nightshadow. "It must be," she decided. "After all, what in StarClan could make your eyes silver?"

Stormpaw grinned. ("Epic!" She yelled. jkjk) "Sure," she agreed happily and promptly raced to the thorn tunnel, without waiting for her mentor.

  7. Nightshadow shrugged. [Even after all this time I still don't know whether or not cats can shrug :|] "Nothing, I suppose."

Sunshadow sighed as he slowly padded towards the camp exit/entrance. His paws surely would be full with such an enthusiastic apprentice.

  8. (LOL. Or smile, for that matter. :D)

Berylmist shrugged in response as well, and watched with amused interest as the ginger apprentice streaked out of camp, and Sunshadow let out a tired huff, following her more slowly.

(where do you wna comment next?)

  9. (OR CRY. I see them cry a lot in fanfics. By the way, I was reading a Warriors fanfic and some author made a typo. Birchpaw = B*tchpaw O.o)

Nightshadow sighed. "I wonder were Cherrypaw is," she said. (Erm yeah, because Cherrypaw is inactive :|)

Sunshadow quickly caught up to his apprentice. Looking up, he realized that they had already reached the Aspen Wood. "I guess we'll start our tour of the territory here," he said.

  10. (Oh, yeah. HAHAHAHAAHA xD)
    (Sigh... inactive bloggers... D:<)

Berylmist frowned. "She should be really paying attention to her training... speaking of training, where's Streampaw?"
    (Because she's inactive too... grr)

Stormpaw sat up, frowning. "I was stalking a mouse," she snapped. "Until you interrupted and scared half the forest."

  11. [:|s]

Nightshadow sighed. "I haven't seen him around recently, maybe he's in the apprentice's den?"

Sunshadow looked at his apprentice and suppressed a sigh. "You'll get to hunt a lot of prey later," he said. "For now, let's just make sure you're familiar with the territory so that when you do go hunting, you won't get lost."

  12. (??)

Berylmist shook her head. "Checked." She glanced towards the den once more before sighing. "She wasn't there."

Stormpaw huffed, but sat up. "Fine. Where to, first?" She flicked her tail, glancing around her at the unfamiliar territory.

  13. [No one ever understands that DX It's a lot of :| s]

Nightshadow sighed. "What happened to all ouf our apprentices?"

Sunshadow looked around. "This is the Aspen Wood," he explained. "So obviously these are Aspen trees. From here we could go the Ash or Maple Wood. Which one do you prefer?"

    ReplyDelete
  14. (Ohhh. That makes sense. So does :Ds work, then?)

Berylmist frowned. "Perhaps they went on strike," she joked. "But I can't imagine why they would."

"Maple," Stormpaw said immediately, thinking of the legends about it that Dawnshadow told her.

  15. [Yeh.]

Nightshadow shrugged. "We should talk to Brookstar about this later," she said. "It will our clan seem weak to the other clans."

Sunshadow nodded, and padded off to a different section of the forest, where the trees were taller and the leaves had a different shape. "Come on!"

  16. (:D Go on Lyreade?
    Uoy ssim :) )

Berylmit nodded in agreement. "Good idea. Perhaps before the evening patrol leaves?"

Stormpaw followed him obediently for a few momnts before loosing patience and racing forward. She nearly tumbled over the cliff, but she skidded to a stop when she realized that where she was was where the drop was.

    (does that make sense?)

  17. (Lalalala I diddddd and you should reply on gmail =A=|l|]

Nightshadow shrugged. "I guess," she said. "We need our apprentices back soon."

Sunshadow sighed yet again. "Slow down," he said. "I don't know how I could train you if you had a crooked neck! Well, this is the maple wood," he said. "And obviously, the trees here are maple..." The tom paused to draw in the sweet scent that wafted over to the two cats from a tree with a sizable hole in its bark.

[Er. To me it does... So either it actually DOES make sense or we're both idiots.]

  18. (Oh, sorry. I'm never on during the times you're on... π.π)

"We do," Berylmist agreed. "We do."

"I know," Stormpaw glanced up at him. "I heard from a rogue before Whisperstreak and I came here that there was this amber liquid inside special maple trees that tasted sweet, like honey, but differently." She shrugged. "He called it sap, said it was in every tree, but it was only sweet in maple."

  19. [*Fiercely eats a rasin*]

Sunshadow nodded. "That's right," he said. After a while, he looked around the forest, drawing in the scent of the other trees. "So," he said. "Where do you think you want to go next?"

  20. (BY THE WAY, STORMY.

:D Short but effective.. I hope)

  21. (Rasin? O.o :D)

Stormpaw shrugged. "Anything. I mean, anywhere. You are the mentor, right? I just want to learn." She gave him a teasing sideways glance.

    (SNOW GOLEMS?!?!?!)

    ReplyDelete
  22. [I hate them. D:]

Sunshadow nodded. "You're right," he said. "So basically, the whole forest is made up of five parts, the ash wood, hawthorn wood, aspen wood, maple wood and the Shadowpines. If you walk over there-" the black cat used his tail to point off into the distance "-you'll get to the Willow Stream, and the opposite direction leads to the Cloudy Gorge. And even further is the Sunnystones, which are next to the lake. I'll take you to the Willow Stream first, and then we'll see if we have time to go anywhere else, and maybe do some hunting."

    ReplyDelete
  23. (I know you do. XD I do too.)

Stormpaw's eyes brightened. "Cool! Okay." As they made their way to the Willow Stream, Stormpaw opened her mouth once more to ask a question that had been on her mind for a while: "You Clan cats always talk about StarClan- Dawnshadow did when she took me here, and Brookstar did when I was made an apprentice. But I still don't really understand what StarClan is, really."

    ReplyDelete
  24. [Small, purple grandmas...*shudders*]

"Well basically, StarClan is where cats go when they die. They're said to reside in the stars in the sky. And if a leader of a clan or a medicine cat needs help from StarClan, they can travel a sacred place where they can meet with StarClan. Sometimes StarClan visits normal cat's dreams to deliver a prophecy or something, but that's quite rare."

    [I think that's about right...]
